Hi! My name is Skylar and I am here to help you manage your energy so you have the tools for anxiety management. This subject is so close to my heart because I struggled with anxiety and bouts of depression for most of my life. My anxiety stopped me from living my life, I was scared of people, I was scared of crowds, I was always tense and miserable. I turned to all sorts of destructive habits to dull the pain.
There came a time when I had to put down the destructive habits, because they were literally killing me. And I was left with nothing to dull the anxiety. It was at that point in 2010, I made it my mission to turn my life around and do something about it. So for a decade I have been working on finding natural solutions to tame the chaos that goes on in the mind.
This has lead me to the approach of integrative yoga as a natural solution to a mind that does not want to be tamed. I use the tools of breath, meditation, gentle yoga postures, and Ayurveda to manage my anxiety and it is my goal to share these tools with as many people as possible so they can rea the rewards of these amazingly healing tools as well!
